Good Day:
1. To translate a microsoft word file to a plain braille file:
A. Open the word processor, and when it asks you for the file,
browse to the microsoft word file and press enter.
B. When the BrailleNote prompts asking you whether or not you
wish to review options, press y.
C. Unless the file is in a different language, leave the
language set to English and press enter.
D. At the prompt about translating into braille, press y.
E. After the document opens, press space with s to get to the
save file prompt.
F. Press backspace with x until the BrailleNote indicates that
you are creating a document of type plain braille file.
G. Type in the file name in computer braille, if you have a
braille keyboard and then press enter.
H. The brf file will be saved in the same location as the
microsoft word file.
2. In order to get to page 15, line 8.
A. Press space with dots 1-2-6.
B. Press p, followed by the number sign and the page number.
C. Press space, and then type like, followed by the line
number, also with a number sign at the beginning.

Dear Friends,
I am Ketan Kothari from Mumbai India and love reading Braille. I
have a Braillenote BT and have following 2 questions to begin
with:
How do I translate a "doc" file into BRF?
How do I go to particular page and particular line? When I pres
space + 126 I can go to a particular page but how to go to a
particular line? To illustrate my point how do I go to page 15
line 18? Please help.
