Hi listers. Is there any way to stop previous messages on the
Braille Display continuing to pop up when using the GPS? For
example, I might have made a change to the GPS options, I exit
out and the message on the display announces the change I have
made, uits changed from imperial to metric, for example. Then,
the latest identification of a street pops up and I scrll down to
read the entire message but then the previous message about the
change to the units comes back. That's not so bad but when the
previous message is a street one has already passed or may have
missed, I find that quite disturbing.
I remember contacting Sendero a while ago about this and they say
it's HumanWare's problem because it's the Braille display. It
doesn't happen with speech. Is there any way of fixing this
problem or should I be writing to HW about it?
