Hi Richard, Ah, thanks for confirming our suspicions... I think it all comes down to not the speed of things, but mostly because of how keySoft runs internally. Right now keysoft.exe and iexplore.exe (the IE engine) runs slower than expected because we are working with redefined mPower's keysoft.exe code on top of new operating system layer. This is also the reason why there are "frustrations" that Apex resembles that of an mPower, and much talks of compatibility issues between old data and newer software (I think). Also, I believe the software stack is not taking advantage of some of the vast hardware resources of an Apex - certaintly 256 MB of RAM is better than that of mPower and CPU speed is on par with most of the high-end cell phones of today (including mine). I hope there would be speed improvements before end of this year when the supposed KeySoft 9.1.0 is announced and released. Cheers, Joseph P.S. Just my opinions - I think Alex would have better info on this.

Have any of you found a work around to speeding this up? I find using the same favorites as I used on my Voice Note mPower are so slow on my Apex as to be worthless. These are not complex large pages for the most part but my mPower can load them in a few seconds but the Apex takes a minimum of 45 seconds to a minute or two in some cases using my broad band service through the ethernet port. I can not test it with wi-fi because my router is configured for WPA-2, which I don't believe the Apex can handle. Once a page is loaded, it can take just as long again to reload after I press on a link that pulls up another page and so on. If there is no work around, I sure hope Humanware gets it in gear to fix this issue soon. I still use my mPower much more frequently than my Apex due to this problem, as well as some other issues I have already reported to Humanware.
