We have a USB modem for our netbook, and I tried it with the Apex, but it wasn't recognized. Probably the best thing to do would be to order the USB modem from Humanware.

Subject: [Braillenote] USB modems for dial-up with the Apex

Hello list,
I'm hoping to do some traveling mp to northern mid-Michigan sometime before Christmas and for the most part the only way one can connect to the internet is via a dial-up connection. Does the apex work with any off-the-shelf USB connectable modem for this purpose? If so where can I go to purchase such a thing?
