Thank you very much for sharing this answer with everyone.  I have an SD
card that somehow got into the read only mode when I put into my PC.  I
figured out from your note what happened and was able to change it back to
read/right.

I assume you know where the cf slot is; it is the big rectangle in the
back middle. With the bn facing you, find that slot. Move your hand
left, toward the AC adapter jack, and down toward the bottom of the
back edge. You will find a slot built into the bottom edge of the
plastic, and this is the slot.

Orient the sd card so that the rough ridges are facing you and toward
the floor, then slide the card into the slot. You should feel the
resistance of a spring, but if the card stops cold, you have it
oriented wrong.

The read/write switch is on the right edge of the card if the card is
oriented to fit into the slot. Use a fingernail to move the switch.
When it is closer to the ridges, the card is in read/write mode.
Moving it away from the ridges puts the card into read-only mode.
