Re: Braillenote Urgent Help Help:
I am also sorry, Blake, but I believe Mr. Dreicer is right.
Small consolation here, but I myself learned a very useful lesson
from losing a file late one night when working frantically to get
a report done. I exited out of it just as you did, and poof, my
hard to re-create updates were gone without warning. I
complained to the List as to how o' how could this happen, but
discovered the following.
If by chance you were working on an MS Word file, they are
dangerous that way. If you happen to e-chord twice, you get two
prompts.
The first asks "Save as a Keyword Document?" If you happen to
rapidly e-chord exit a second time, you get the second prompt as
you indicated,
"Abandoning Keyword." For MS Word Documents, this means
abandoning anything and everything written since your last
correctly executed change.
To avoid this in the future, answer the first prompt with a yes,
that you indeed want to "save as a Keyword Document. This will
save it in a format that will let you e-chord escape any time you
want, without ever losing anything again. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] urgent help help
Hi All:
I did a bit of work today for tomorrow, but had to remoove my usb
to which I was saving the file, and put it in the pc to access
something else. Upon completion of the file, I hit space with e
and then realised. But it said: abandoning keyword. Main menu.
I now can't find where it has saved this file. Please please
help as soon as you get this email.
Cheers, The extremely frantic and stressed out Blake.
