I was under the understanding that the Apex didn't work any more with the later versions of Jaws. Is this incorrect?

Hi Jenny,
First, connect the BN with the USB cable. Open JAWS and go to
Options, then braille. There is a dialogue box there for adding
a
braille display. If you need more help, please let me know.
When it
asks you what port it is on, it has been my experience that
whatever
it is on is correct.

Hi Listers

I am trying to set up the Apex as a Braille display.

So far I have downloaded and unzipped the drivers from Humanware.
Then I
connect the cable and press T from the main menu on the Apex and
u then
enter. The Apex beeps but there is nothing happening at the
netbook end.
I
can sink the Apex and Netbook with no problem. Though. I'm
running Windows
XP on the Netbook.

What can I try, Perhaps I haven't set up the partnership
properly? Any
suggestions would be gratefully received.

Kind Regards

Jenny Dawson
