Hello folks,
I have made some headway with facebook chat. For those of you
who are on the edge of your seats, sit back--I have not signed in
successfully yet. However, here's what I've found:
1. Using ebuddy, I logged in to facebook chat. I pressed enter
on someone (I did not actually chat with her, because I do not
know if her JAWS will read chat) it gave me a large negative
number chat.facebook.com. So I went, "oho! I can probably use
this knowledge to find my chat.facebook.com email address. So I
clicked on my name (Zach Dreicer Griego) (btw, you're welcome to
add me). I was disappointed--all I could see was save and
cancel. So I googled for a while terms like chat.facebook.com,
and the following page was of some help:
developers.facebook.com/docs/chat
on this page, it tells one how to log in using their clients.
But now guess what: apex won't support python!
So that is my discovery. If anyone is willing, i will try the
ebuddy thing with them. You'll need to give me a call at
505-750-8483 and have facebook working. I'll ask questions like
"what do you see under Zach Dreicer Griego when you've logged in
to ebuddy?" and things like that.
