Hi,
What kind of brailleNote does your student use? If it is an mPower, the
Dictionary should be under Oxford folder on the SD card. If it is an Apex,
the Dictionary is already built into Flash Disk.
There are two ways of accessing the dictionary. One is pressing ENTER with
lower D (DOTS 2-5-6). When the BrailleNote says, "word to look up in
dictionary," have your student type some word. The second way is going to
Options Menu, then go to Lookup Word (L), then press D (for Dictionary) when
the BrailleNote prompts the student to choose between dictionary and
thesaurus.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Dictionary

I am trying to help a student gain access to her dictionary for use in fifth
grade language arts and I can not find a way to open the Oxford dictionary
that is on the SD card. The paraprofessional that was our BN specialist
isn't with us this year, and we are lost without her.Can anyone give me step
by step directions?

Thanks for your help.
