Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Setting up chat on the apex
It is quite easy.
1. Go to keychat, then open options, then instant messaging.
2. The username is your full email address, so mine is
[email protected].
3. The password is the password you use to get your email or sign
into
any Google service.
4. The "auto connect" option just means that, if set to 'yes',
keychat
will sign you in when you open it (not when you connect to the
internet, but rather when you specifically open keychat). The
other
option is 'no', and that means you will have to select the
"instant
messaging: sign on" option every time you open keychat in order
to
appear as "online" to contacts.
5. The server is simply talk.google.com.
6. The port is 5222.
That's it. Let us know if you run into problems.

Hi all,
I'm very confused about how to set up chat on the apex. I have
a
google account, and I heard that you can use chat with a Gmail
account. If anyone can help me I would very much appreciate it.
