I do not have difficulties using the home row keys to do grade 2 input to iOS.
I won't top-post so much as paraphrase. I understand the argument made in favour for a blind person using speech and having a fine memory, but the other disadvantages (unintuitive, difficult for archives, etc) are too great to contemplate doing it. I myself do not have a great short-term memory and dislike having to keep referring to the quoted text down below to then add the answer at the top. I also have a suspicion that the quality of responses is better when top-posting is not used, since each section is addressed thoroughly and carefully.
