Hi,
I haven't seen this behavior on the Apex.
Cheers,
Joseph

Well, I'll be honest: this isn't good. It is nothing you did, it is
just something the bn will do sometimes, and it is exactly why I no
longer use keymail at all. I hope you had no emails on there you
wanted. If you did, go to keymail, find any emails you want to save,
and, one by one, open them and hit s to save, following the resulting
prompts. After you have saved all the emails you want, try a 4-5-6
reset, then a service reset.

If that does not work or this happens again, you will have to erase
your email database. You read that right.

1. Remove any storage cards from the bn, including pcmcia, cf, sd, and usb.

2. Go to main menu, file manager, erase file. Select the flash disk,
then the keymail folder.

3. Press space-x to get to the list of all, including hidden, files
and move down to email folders.cdb. Make sure it is .cdb, not the one
with no extension.

4. Press enter to erase this file, answering 'y' to any confirmation
prompts.

5. Right from here (as soon as the file is erased), hit reset; do not
even go back to the main menu.

6. When the bn wakes up again, go to keymail and check for new mail. A
message will come up, saying that the database for email folders does
not exist; answer 'y' here to create your new, and hopefully
uncorrupted, email database.

Are you using an mPower? What version of keysoft? Not to scare you,
but my mPower did this for about a year, and that was even after they
replaced the flash disk at the hw repair center. After that I switched
to using the gMail website to manage emails, and I have never gone
back to keymail exactly because of this possibility. I am not sure if
the apex will do this same thing, but I would rather not find out the
hard way.
