When I wrote my original telnet/FTP advisory, I thought it best to include full-disclosure. That allows other administrators to be aware of the problem. Please be careful when you use reply-all to make sure that your questions do not end up on FD since they are probably not of great interest to the security community. It is a high-volume list and apart from adding noise to the list you may expose yourself to spam collectors. Instead, use Reply, and cc the [email protected] list address manually.
