Other devices seem to be working just fine with the network,
according to the people I've asked. I'm guessing it's a firmware
upgrade. To be honest, I may just ask them to downgrade the
firmware because the wireless is essential to my schoolwork. I
need to get a different machine because of compatibility issues
like this.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Wireless Issues
That does sound like a wifi card problem, but try another
wireless
device to be sure (anyone's laptop or pda will do). HW sells the
Ambicom wl54g card, which is the only one now available for the
mPowers. Annoyingly, you will have to turn off the bn to insert
the
card, otherwise the bn will freeze and require a reset. The
Ambicom
wl1100c or the sandisk connect+128mb will also work; look on
newegg.com, insidecomputer.com, amazon.com, overstock.com,
supermediastore.com, and other sites for these cards before you
pay hw
more than you might have to.

I'm using a BN mPower BT. I use the wireless network at my
school to send and receive emails with teachers. Last Thursday
the network became invisible, only sometimes showing the SSID
and
not allowing me to connect. I'm sure it's not a problem with my
BN, but I may need to get a new wireless card. Is there any
reason the network would stop working besides my card? And if I
need a new card, which one would be compatible?
