I had an earlier version of Keynote than the Keynote Companion.

There used to be two units, one was the Keynote with 40 kb memory, and another version with 84 kb memory. Believe it or not, in those days, of the late eighties, that seemed a lot of memory.

Since then I have always had Keynote machines at home, but did not get the Keynote Companion. In 1993 I bought a desk-top DOS computer, and for the speech synthesiser I chose Keynote Gold and Mastertouch.

About three years ago, when my faithful DOS computer broke down finally, I decided that, as I already knew and liked the Keysoft products, I would go for a Voicenote n-power, which I still have.
