Thanks, Joseph, that is what I thought, but wasn't sure
exactly what to look for. I guess I'm off to Staples,
and Office Depot, before the middle of December, then.
Can't wait to get the Apex! smile.

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] TO JOSEPH ABOUT HARD DRIVES
Hi,
The best one I've worked with (which used to be my
former hard drive) is the
Western Digital Passport series (80 GB to be exact). In
terms of capacity,
drives up to about a Terabyte (1000 GB) should work on
the Apex, provided
that it gets enough power (currently, Apex and these
HDD's are engaged in a
power usage fight i.e. the drives are not receiving
enough power from the
Apex). In my case, the one that I intend to use is a
500 GB hard drive.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi, Joseph Lee!
Can you give me the exact name of a Western Digital
Passport hard drive that is 2.5 inches in size that
will work with the Apex? I'm looking for around 80 to
120 gb.
Thanks.
