Subject: Re: [Braillenote] switching from file to file in key word
I think there is some confusion here. Suppose you open folder1 and work in
file1 of that folder. Now, you want to switch from folder1 file1 to folder1
file2. The qwerty command for this is control z. (I don't know the bt
command.) As soon as you press this command, you will see "File to open?"
You are still in folder1. You can type file2 or you can press space until
you get to file2.
The only time you must go through the folder list is if your second
document is in a different folder. Your default folder will always be the
folder you are currently using.
Remember the switch document command, control z, and the exit document
command, escape, aren't the same and don't behave the same. The escape
command exits you from a document completely. The switch document command
keeps the document available to you so you can open a second one. Once you
have opened file1 and file2, you can switch between them by pressing
control z without needing to specify the folder and file name because
they're already in reserve. It's like writing on a piece of paper, putting
the paper down on the table, picking up a second piece of paper, writing
on it, laying it down on the table and picking up the first piece of paper
again.
