I think UEB stinks, too. The reason why the BN supports it is New Zealand, Australia, and two other countries have adopted it as their standard code.

But if you have seen NUBS, then you'll see it's a much better system than UEB.

Although people, like Alex, can use UEB, it hasn't been adopted in the U.S. or Canada and it is not taught in schools here in the U.S. I don't think the Canadians are teaching it, either, but Brian Lingard can correct me on this.

As for privatizing the post office, I haven't heard that there are plans to privatize the post office here in the U.S. It's been discussed, but it hasn't happened yet.

As far as braille material goes, I think we should phase out paper braille and use refreshable braille instead. Paper braille is too bulky and you can't "mark it up" like you can with .brf files.
