Next time this happens, go to options, then connectivity, then active
connection details. If the bn says "there is currently no active
connection", or the "status" item in the list is either "not
connected", "connecting", or "no information available", then you have
lost signal. The "signal strength" item is a good indicator; it is a
negative number, and the higher the number (so the lower the digits)
the better. For example, -87 dbm means you have very little signal and
could lose it at any time, while -47 or -35 means you have great
signal.
