Hi, The factors are bitrate and sample rate. A typical 10 MB mp3 file would have around 10 minute duration given if it was saved udinh 128 KBPS bitrate and 44.1 KHz sampling rate. The popular bitrates are between 24 to 256 KBPS, with usual sampling rate being 11.025 KHz, 22.05KHz and 44.1 KHz. Also, it depends on file type - wav files have shorter duration than mp3's or WMA files. Cheers, Joseph
