Hi, Mike, this is Chris Nusbaum.

I'm subscribbed to the Braillenote mailing list and we got a post
yesterday from a guy who said a new Keysoft upgrade is coming soon.
He didn't say how he knew this, so I asked.  He said that he had
spoken with a Humanware rep and he had told him the information.  But
someone else on the list said that he had spoken with a manager at
Humanware named Dominic Gagliano who said that there was nothing
factual about this upgrade until it is announced by Humanware.
Personally, I'm leaning twards the comment that it needs to be
announced by Humanware first.  But we really don't know.  Do you know
anything about this... that is do you know anything about this that
you can say to the general public?  Thanks.

After I posted something on the list the other day wondering how one
lister knew that a new upgrade was coming, I emailed a friend of mine
who is a blindness product specialist at HW named Mike Tindell and
asked him what was going on.  I told him also that a lister sent me an
email off list, which I forwarded to the list, saying he talked to
Dominic, a manager at HW, who explained that nothing was completely
true about any KS upgrade until announced by HW.  This lister also
informed me that when something is announced by HW, it's posted both
on this list and some announce list that I didn't even know existed.
Here is Mike's reply to that email.  By the way, I spent a lot of time
on the phone with a very nice guy from HW tech support trying to
figure out this problem with my Apex recognizing a printer I posted
last week, and when all else failed, he told me to download the file
from humanware.com and update my KS version from 9.0.1 to 9.0.2.  It
turns out that HW has broadened their compatible printer list for the
BN in KS version 9.0.2.  I'll keep you posted on what happens there.
