Hi BrailleNote List members, HumanWare staff and others,
I'm delighted to announce the first public beta version of
BrailleNote PBWorks version 7.3. Some of the new features
include additional commands, added navigation features in some
articles and upgraded Mission Backstage section.
The purpose of this beta cycle is to gather your feedback on new
content - spelling errors, whether the content is correct and so
forth - to prepare for the upcoming official release of the site.
If you want to help me out with technical side of things -
webside coding and other stuff, just drop me an email off list.
New as of 7.3 Beta 1 include:
* General: Some articles now feature same page links (anchors) to
move quickly to desired section.
* Mission Backstage: Some of the content were rewrittch and/or
added for Apex users. This section also includes a "table of
contents" to allow you to move quickly to answers to common
questions.
* Command Summary: Added commands for web browser, as well as
added table of contents - one entry per application.
* Frequently Asked Questions: Added an FAQ page for "Word
processing and reading" section under Support Hotlordine/Category
View. The page includes questions on support for Word 2007/2010
documents, using various fonts and quick way of selecting text
for further action.
* Connectivity Dictionary: Aadded several new tercs such as WPA2
and AES.
* Hardware Compatibility List: Added few words about, and a list
of Bluetooth headsets/headphones that works with Apex.
At least that's for now. I'll take your suggestions and feedback
for the next public beta cycle (apprx. two weeks from now). The
