die!

We tried that, and I had to call hw to ask. I think we
should have it
sorted today, but thanks for the suggestion.

Just a suggestion but have you tried or had Peter try
erasing the keymail
folder on
the flash disk then without going to the main menu
pressing a
space-with-4-5-6
reset?!?
I think that this may help but I'm just guessing.
HTH!

Subject: [Braillenote] keymail database on apex won't die!

Hi all,
I was just trying to help out someone else on this list. He
has an
apex with ks9.02b756 and is trying to copy off, then
replace, his
keymail database. It was copied to an sd card with no
problem, but it
somehow disappeared from the original location, despite it
just being
a copy, so there was nothing to recreate or copy over.

First, we tried a 1 2 3 reset. Of course, all his settings
were
changed to the defaults, but the same email database
persisted, with
and without the sd card inserted.

Next we tried a plain reset, but nothing changed except that
the
keyboard failed and we had to reset again to get it back.

Through it all, the keymail database continued to exist for
keymail,
but \flash disk\keymail\email folders.cdb did NOT (again,
did NOT)
exist! I have no idea where the apex could be grabbing the
database,
but I want to find and erase it, where ever it is. Does
anyone have a
thought? Thanks.
