I agree that all these features (headings, tables, lists, all that)
should be able to be written as well as read. However, consider the
interface for this: somehow, you have to let the user enter the data
in the file, controlling what goes where and letting the user decide
where lists start and end, plus allowing for undoing list itemizing
and so forth. As an example, think of the complexity in just letting
the user write his own table!

My point here is that, while writing all this formatting would be
wonderful, I am guessing that the big reason we do not have it yet is
that it has already been a year since they promised this upgrade,
which they said would support .docx files and does not. They are
probably focusing on getting this out the door, then making the
mPower/PK users happy. Implementing something as complex as a table
writer for keyword would have added a lot of time to the development
of 9.1 and pushed it back even further. Just my thoughts.
