As for books, if you are in the U.S. you can look at http://www.bookshare.org. You can also find sites that offer epub book downloads (provided they do not need a license file, but I am not sure how all that works). These books will be supported in the upgrade which should be out this month. If you run into problems or have questions, send the list an email and we will do our best to help.
