Hi folks, mostly for podcast enthusiasts,
As a continuation on BrailleNote Podcast series, I'm still
planning to do word processor podcast. If it is done, it'll be
done in three sessions as follows:
* Part 1: Introduction, creation and navigation of a document:
Covers an intro to word processor, KeyWord Menu, creating,
opening and saving a document, as well as basic navigation such
as cursor movement, placement and changing movement modes.
* Session 2: Editing, formatting and selecting text: Covers
formatting such as new page and new line, font manipulation and
style of presentation, layout and intro on selecting and editing
text via Block Commands.
* Session 3: Advanced Features: provides working with documents
on other drives, text versus braille documents, unicode and place
markers. The last item will be words on printing, embossing and
choosing the default document type and language used.
While covering KeyWord, I'll also cover Book Reader as well -
since both use similar concepts and commands. Because Book
Reader has additional functionality such as reading DAISY books,
it'll be listed as part four of this series.
After word processor and book reader is done, I plan to move onto
Planner, contacts and databases. And if it works, I'll also
cover synchronization of calendar and contacts as an addendum.
Following this, it'll be media features and Internet concepts.
Cheers,
Joseph
