As a very occasional co-moderator and longtime member of the Paperless Braille Devices list, PBD-L, I don't find the list restrictive, but we do try to ensure that things stay on topic, which is a courtesy to all list members. Of course, like any list, if a subscriber isn't happy with the list, and doesn't find it a comfortable, informative place to share information, he can opt out as easily as he opted in.
