Has anyone noticed that there are extra characters in the address to the BN list quite often, much more often than before, and often this means emails don't get sent or undeliverable emails appear?

Hi Malaina
Interesting how the instructions did mention if one was using
Keyweb and what steps to take!

hi peter no I don't think you could down load and install 9.1 by
only downloading it with the apex. I used my laptop to download
both the key and the software package. I put one on a thumb
drive and one on an sd card. I thought there was something wrong
when I downloaded my key the file was to small. The same when I
tried using my apex. So I downloaded them from my computer. But
like I said after the upgrade I could download the upgrade
package. Before 9.1 the apex was unable to download a 50 plus mb
file. That is why the zip file was easier for some to get. The
page just wasn't working right when I tried the regular 9.1 file.
It didn't take to long to download the 30 mb zipped 9.1 though.

Hi again Malaina
How did you update to 9,1 in the first place?
My question really is, could one have updated to 9,1 just with
the Apex? It seems perhaps now after 9,1 future updates can be
done just with the Apex? Could 9,1 have been done just with the
Apex?

Yes I downloaded the zip with the apex after I installed 9.1. I
down loaded it to the download folder. I went to click on the
file it said something like unzip archive. I didn't actually
unzip it though. It didn't ak for a password though. I just hit
escape. I am sure it would have unzipped fine though.

Malaina
Did you download the zip version with the Apex?
Could the Apex pre 9,1 unzip?
Peter

y----
`From my understanding it didn't sound to me like it could before
the update. They increase the size of a file the apex can down
load after 9.1. When I tried going and down loading the file I
got a few links on the hw page and then page could not be
displayed. So I went and downloaded the zip file with no
problems.

Malaina
HW do mention using Key web so in theory could the Apex have
handled it?

Before the upgrade though the apex would not have been able to
handle the file size. I will try it now that I have the upgrade
and let you know how it goes on my end. I know people have
already tried it though.

I had the same experience as Peter when trying to download the
upgrade file to my Apex. It did download the upgrade key file
okay, and it told me the upgrade file itself had been downloaded
as well. However, seing as it only took a second or two to
download the upgrade file, of course I knew the Apex had not
downloaded it correctly. Thus, I downloaded the file on my PC,
and then transferred it to an S D card.

I have been able to successfully upgrade to KS 9,1 by
downloading
the upgrade to an s d card using the Voice Sense.
Couldn't use the Apex to do this!
Thought some may find this interesting!
