I got mine a couple of days after confirmation from BTBL, who handles NLS here in California.
Regarding the Executive Products case, it is far superior to the original Apex case and is well worth the price. The main difference is that instead of a Velcro flap holding the Apex in the case from the side, the unit slides in from the back and is securely held there by 2 straps that are snapped in place. Also, the leather seems to be thicker and holds its shape much better. The zipper opening in the cover is longer, making it easier to get papers and envelopes in and out. It, however, does not have a place to put identification information, such as a business card. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of David Tingler Sent: Sunday, February 27, 2011 9:12 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Braillenote] Two Apex Questions Hello Everyone, 1. Has anyone received their authorization key for NLS from Humanware? My request was acknowledged by BARD several days ago, but I have not received my key file yet. 2. Is the Apex case sold by Executive Products the same as the case that comes with the Apex? If not, would someone tell mm how it is different?
