Hi, mostly QT users,
I guess the following is a serious warning to Apex QT users who
are using 9.1, which gives us a more strong evidence to see this
fixed in the future:
Problem: QT does not allow home row based braille input when
braille input is required.
Description: If you have a QT and are required to write something
in braille such as in braille document, QT will not switch
automatically to home row braille input mode.
Possible solution: I believe the whole input system was redone to
allow QWERTY emulation on braille terminal, but it broke the
braille input mode across all KeySoft modules at the same time,
thus a possible rewrite might be needed.
I hope to see this fixed in a near future.
