Dear List,
Please accept my apology for my unknowing duplication of emails
sent out yesterday. It was only this morning, (Saturday) that I
saw the five duplicates in my In-box. Perhaps one of you will
have a technical explanation. My VoiceNote kept speaking out an
error message upon each and every one of my commands to send.
Thus, I kept trying, not
at all knowing it was being sent each time, as a 90% partial
email. Numbers 9, 10, 11 and 12 (shown below) consisted of words
directly
block-saved from Dominique's original, and thus failed to go out.
Thus, my VoiceNote refused to send out what it saw as a foreign
format. Or maybe my VoiceNote just knew that nobody much cared
about the subject at all.
(9) Updating of the definition of telecommunications relay
services (TRS)to include people who are deaf-blind and to allow
communicationbetween and among different types of relay users.
(10) Directing of up to $10 million per year from theInterstate
TRS Fund for the distribution of specialized equipmentto
low-income people who are deaf-blind.
(11) Restoration of video description rules. Talking here about
those rules promulgated by the FCC in 2000and authorizes some
expansion of those obligations over the next10+ years.
(12) Requirement that video programming that is closed captioned
on TV to beclosed captioned when distributed additionally on the
Internet.
