Here's some information that you may want to know, and that may answer
some of your questions.
If you want all of your site related things to go to a email address,
but do not want to use your own, you may get one from me, and use that
just for the site, or social networking stuff.
For example, say I have
[email protected]
but do not want to use that as my email address for the site's
notifications, or whatever? Or i do not wish for people to have that
email address, well I made myself an email account:
[email protected]
...
and I use that for my account info instead of my personal.
Mainly because I already have too much going to this email anyways.
You can use it for whatever you wish, even just to get a Google Voice
number, if you do not have a Google Account, or just want to not use
your Google account.
To do that, on the support site, when submitting the ticket, there is a
combo box that you can select topics to use for the subject, if what you
want isn't there, you can email me and I'll add it in there.
Some of them, just made because I thought people would use them when
submitting tickets.
Try whatever link it was now and see if you get a 404error will ya?
I think some of the DB links got removed by mistake, I'll have to check.
Or if you give me a list of links, I will try to fix them.
The FAQ site is currently down, I'm aware of that and am getting help
from my system admin on this issue.
You can sign up for the social site, and do lot's of things.
Have you or anybody ever herd of the zone BBS?
It's kind of like this, but mainly for people who use Note-takers, in a
since, or do not like drama.
that site has too much drama for me, so I wanted to make a site that we
all can enjoy, and that can be used by all, not even just for blind people!
I have a zone account, but do not log in that much.
There are rules, though.
The rules can be view at the site.
The terms are here:
http://muztechcommunity.com/terms.html
I believe that works, if not, then the social site has terms that you
can view as well.
those terms there are just global terms that you should read.
You don't have to get a email address from the ticket system, though.
If you want to, then that's fine, but if you want to do it through the
social site, which mainly stuff will be bought from, you can as well.
Just visit the point store, providing you have enough points, then you
can bye an account, or whatever else you want to get.
Use the email address you get to chat with other members, if you like,
with out having to give out your personal email address.
You even have access to Google Talk through the muztech community Google
apps account!
Some people ask me all the time, ("Do I need to pay for something on
you're site?") no, it's all free.
When i mean bye, you bye things with points, in the point store on the
site, not with real money.
You could, but I didn't set anything up like that so you could sail
things or whatever.
I'd need help with that part if people wanted to do things like that.
You may create banners, to link to another site, such as
braillenote.pbworks.com
and as many hit's that Joseph get's the hit's decrease.
For example, I set it so you get from 100 to 900 hit's before you need
to request for more hits, but it spreads the word to get to his site,
see the banner page on the social site for more info.
To get more hits' all this can be done through the point store.
I also have a clubs feature, so I could make a BrailleNote club, and you
can join or be a part of the club.
If possible, I'd allow Joseph and Alex to be the mod of that, because
they are some what the advanced users of Apex and Mpower.
Thoughts?
What do you guys think?

I can't remember which link had the 404 error. I knew when I wrote
you that, that it had just left my head. I did download some books
from that sight you list on there. What are the steps involved in
signing up for the email account? Also, signing up for the email
account, does that give me access to more info on the site?
Is it a membership or what?
