Hi,
No, not stupid at all... We were like you once in a while...
There is no "Recycle Bin" under Windows CE. When something is deleted from flash memory, it is gone - unless if special programs are used to recover the information you've just deleted. Under the hood though, file data is still there, but the file system thinks that the file is "gone". (Hard to explain, as it involves what's called "file links.") The data will be removed once the drive controller (the one who manages the flash memory from hardware point of view) determines that it is safe to delete the block where the file data was stored. If this is not simple, then I guess I'm quite stupid myself for not finding proper words td...
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Yet another question

Hi again, Listers,

This may be a really stupid no-brainer question, but I was
wondering if even though a person can delete a file from their
BrailleNote, does it just collect in some hidden folder in the
unit, or does it just go off into space somewhere?

Again, this probably is the stupidest question a person could
ask, right?

Ever so sincerely,
Jasmine
