When I bought my Apex, I received a braille copy of the "getting started" chapter and a command summary for all of the features. I did *not* receive a complete manual.

I really believe the sooner we start getting used to reading braille with a paperless device, the better. Paper volumes take up too much space and they are more expensive to produce than digital braille files.
