You could put the unit in deep sleep. The battery drains more rapidly on the BrailleNote than on the BSP. The BSP actually powers down completely when it's shut off, but not the BrailleNote.

Hi,
I was wondering if there is anything I should have off besides wireless to save battery during either day or night?

Sincerely,
Jasmine
