Somebody asked me if they could get Google Talk accounts to include MSN
contacts into their roster. The answer, unfortunately, is no, unless you go
through a proxy server that works around a bug in Google's Jabber server. That
bug, like KeyChat (which, turns out, uses the Google libraries), will not allow
you to grant authorisation to the name of a transport, which is a "Bare" Jabber
ID. If there is no '@' in the JID, no amount of kicking and screaming will get
KeyChat, Google Talk client, or the gadget to approve the request, and so the
only time KeyChat can work your MSN contacts on Google Talk is when another
client that sends presence updates, like Miranda or Psi, is running.

So to summarise: if you were hoping I could help you get MSN in GTalk, the
answer is "No".

Cheers,
Sabahattin
