First, just so you know, there is no braille sense 40; they come with
32 cell displays, just like the bn family.

Which one to get depends a lot on what you will use it for. For
example, the Sense family all have media keys in front whereas the bn
has thumb keys, so using the radio, daisy player, and media player on
the sense is easy, but moving to the next line of braille must be done
with buttons beside the display instead of the more convenient thumb
keys. The sense also is larger than the apex, though they do have
smaller sense units (the On Hand, for instance, with 18 cells of
braille, a built-in compass, and other features). There is a full
