The iPhone is much more than a phone. Like other smartphones nowadays,
it is a pda with a phone built in. It can play music, run
applications, and so on, and any accessible application that works
with voiceOver will be displayed in braille on an apex. From a cell
phone standpoint, this access lets you read and write text messages in
braille, manage contacts, see caller ID information in braille, and so
on.
