You might want to try a reset by just pressing the reset button
down and then releasing it. HOPE this helps!
That may be all it needs.

Subject: [Braillenote] not able to charge my braillenote
Hi
I am not able to charge my braillenote. When I plug it in to the
wall and I plug the other end into the braillenote it doesn't say
AC adapter on on the braille display nor does it speak it aloud.
Has anyone else had this problem?
