Hi,
Unfortunately, not all of the people I would like to chat with are sighted. I know someone who has Miranda, but I personally don't have it.
Thanks!

Sincerely,
Jasmine

The reason I ask is because I would also like to do google chat on my laptop computer, not just on my Apex. I would like to have other friends that only use computers to be able to use Google Chat with me.

If using a Mac, iChat is a usable Jabber client. On the Windows PC, I don't know what clients are accessible. If the people are all sighted, they can use the Google Talk desktop software, but I don't know about blind Windows users. I know some people have used Miranda with some success, so perhaps start there. On Linux, Pidgin works very well.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
