Dear HW and List,
I have noticed the Apex doesn't include several new signs that are in the
literary braille code used in the U.S.. These are:
Copyright sign: dots 45-14.
Registered sign: dots 45-1235.
Trademark: dots 45-2345.
Crosshatch, pound sign and number print sign: dots 456-1456. (The braille
number sign used before numbers is still dots 3456.)
Forward slash: dots 3456-34.
Although I like the old braille short-form sign for o'clock, it's no longer
included in the new literary braille code.
Except for not updating its braille code for U.S. braille, the HumanWare
notetakers show more readable and accurate braille than the Sense products.
Terri, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
