Hi, most likely because there was no letter sign before the e. Without this, the letter e will have been expanded to the word "every" which is the contraction for E by KeySoft.
Best, and HTH,

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] various semi-related questions

Hey, Dean, the word "E-mail" came out "Every-mail", wonder why? See
below. Beth
Original message:
Hello. I have just jumped back on this list after a fairly long
absence to ask some questions about my Apex bt running 9.1, most
of which are similar. So, in the interest of brevity: Is there a
way to paste text into the Find box (ctrl+f)
Along the same line, is there a way to paste a web address from
the clipboard into the web address edit box? Finally, how about
pasting an every-mail address into an every-mail message?
With regard to all this, is there any way to quickly copy web
addresses or every-mail addresses other than the block commands
and the quick marks?

Finally, I know various efforts have been undertaken to gather
together tutorials, collections of little-known or undocumented
keystrokes and procedures, and the like. Can you remind me where
such material is stored? Has anybody undertaken the task of
documenting the ways of reading and writing in Spanish?

Thank you for all your efforts.

Dean
