Haha! That's good, Randi! I think that might've helped me, too, but am not sure. Debby, I'll look and get back to you.
Best,
Josh

I noticed that my apex was much much slower on Sunday night before I renamed the database folder. I always empty my trash folder, but once I renamed the keymail folder as yousuggested, my apex has been extremely fast when sending/receiving email! Wow! I don't think it's ever been this fast.

Hi Josh,

I would be curious to know how many e-mails you have total. I check this by going to File Manager menu, directory, chose flash disk and then keymail. Find the information for the "email folder" (I have a qwerty keyboard and I do this with read+i.) It shows how big the database is and how many e-mails or records are in there. I know when mine has between 1800 to 2100 e-mails in it, everything slows way down. I know we talked about this earlier, but I would be curious to see how many you have in
there.

Sorry if my directions are overkill and you already know how to do this.

Debby

Subject: [Braillenote] keymail slowness

Hi, all!
I have recently been noticing that keymail is running more slowly
than usual. For instance, when I try to send mail, it takes a
while longer than usual. A simple message that should usually
send in like a second can take up to four or five. Or, when
getting mail, a simple message can take a couple seconds to get.
I'm pretty sure it ran faster than this before. I've tried
renaming the database, deleting everything in it, to no avail.
Is there anything else I could try? Thanks!
Best,
Josh
