Here are the instructions for changing a KeyWord file to a file type you can
read on your PC. I don't know whether you have a braille or qwerty
keyboard, so I'll give both
commands side by side.
Go to the file menu. Press t for translate press e for export. You will be
prompted, "Export document from which folder?" Keysoft will show you the
current folder. If it's the folder where the source document is located,
press enter. If not, type the folder name. At the "Document Name?" prompt,
press enter on the name Keysoft shows you or type the filename. Next, you
will see the "Export to which device? file." Press enter. At the "Export
as which file type," you can press enter on ASCII text or you can press
control with Space or space with dots 34 until you find the correct file
type. Press enter. The next prompt is, "Destination drive?" then you will
se a drive. If it's the correct drive, press enter. If not, cycle through
the list of drives until you find the drive you want and press enter. The
"Directory name?" prompt comes next. If the correct directory is shown,
press enter. If not, type its name. Be sure to add the slash before the
directory name. Press enter. When you see the "Destination filename?"
prompt, type a name and press enter. The "1 file exported prompt will
appear. You're finished!
I know it sounds complicated, but it isn't.
I hope this helps.
