Hi,

Can someone who is familiar with both the Apex and the BrailleSense Plus explain why connectivity is so much more difficult using the Apex than using the BrailleSense Plus? For example, it is much easier to connect my Sense to my PC and use it with WindowEyes and it's much, much harder to do the same thing with the Apex. I cannot understand the way the usb ports are set up. It seems that when I use the Apex, I use the large ports, but when I connect using the Sense, I use the small port. The small port is almost useless on the Apex, but the larg port on the Sense is not used as much. Not only that! Why do we still have to mess with ActiveSync for connectivity but the Sense doesn't require us to use ActiveSync at all, if we don't want to. Don't be too technical, but speak in plain English.

Thanks much!

Terri, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
