Hi, that funny symble is the mark saying english. I don't know how to get rid of it but don't backspace over it because then bits of your document will go missing (I hae done this). Sometimes I can get rid of it by making block markers from a letter or so after the marker to the bottom of the document, then cutting it and putting it into a new document. However this doesn't always work.
If anyone knows how to get rid of it without loosing the document please post it to list. This happens to me on a QT model. Sorry I'm not much help, >From Shaz.
