some good old New Orleans Funky music, check out KCSM Fm org
which you can listen live too on your Apex or PC or whatever, at
8 Pm Pacific time tonight, Sunday. Jim Bennett has a show on
that station where he plays live jazz shows from various venues
around the SF bay area. This one was from Yoshi's Jazz Club in
Oakland. The band is Mal Sharpe and Gumbo West. I play trumpet
and set up my Edie-roll prior to playing the show. What you hear
is from that recording using 2 AKG 1000 mic's to the Edie-roll.
It's a fun, high energy kind of New Orleans music from the San
Francisco Area. Following Jim's show Mal Sharpe, leader of the
band just mentioned, has his own show from 9--11 pm PDT. You
