Hello Timothy, it really depends on how you do it. I think there are ways to do it and get an ok sound. Not great but decent and listenable. If you are recording an acoustic instrument or trying to mic a guitar amp it would depend on the Microphone you use. The better the microphone the better quality you could get. After getting a good microphone, you would have to tweak the volume settings on your BN to find just the right input level. If you have other audio equipment such as a mixer and or audio processers you would be able to do a lot more.
