I am not sure. First, though, check that the two pieces of the adapter
are connected firmly to each other. I once thought my adapter had
bitten the dust only to find out that the cord that goes into the wall
had come almost unplugged from the cord that goes into the bn; not
enough to fall out of the little box it plugs into, but enough to not
make a connection. Push the two pieces together firmly, just to be
sure.
