First, when you open the file, wait a few seconds before trying to do anything (moving the cursor, making changes, reading, etc.). If the freezes persist, send a message to [email protected] with as much information as you can offer: type of hardware; version of software; size of file; whether you're using AC or battery power; whether you were just in some other program or whether you came directly to the file after turning the unit on; and so on. They say they need more detailed reports to help define the problem.

P.S. Also check the "none" folder on your flash disk. If there is anything there other than the "keysoft" file (which holds clipboard material), did you put the other files there? If not, report that to Humanware as well. I understand that a cluttered "none" folder on the flash disk is one of the currently suspected contributors to the freezing problem. Of course, if your "none" folder contains no files other than "keysoft", that will be helpful information as well.
